This Privacy Policy describes how the QR Studio: Scanner & Creator app ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information.
We do not ask you to provide personal information such as your name, email address, contacts, or account credentials.
However, the app may collect, store, or process limited data needed to provide its features, including:
The app uses your camera to scan QR codes and product barcodes. The app may also use photos you select from your photo library to detect QR codes or barcodes in images.
Camera frames and selected photos are processed to detect codes and may be used temporarily to show scan results, product previews, or saved code previews. We do not use camera or photo access to collect your photo library, record video, or access images that you do not select.
QR Studio lets you create, design, save, export, and share QR codes. Content you enter into a QR code may include URLs, Wi-Fi details, contact cards, emails, phone numbers, SMS messages, locations, events, social links, payment details, crypto addresses, app links, text, or product barcodes.
Saved QR codes, designs, and manually added product details are stored locally on your device using Apple's app storage technologies. They are used to provide the app's "My Codes", product lookup, design, export, and sharing features.
You should avoid entering sensitive information into QR codes unless you understand that QR codes can be scanned and read by other people or apps when shared, printed, or displayed.
When you scan a product barcode, the app may look up product information using public product databases such as Open Food Facts, Open Beauty Facts, Open Products Facts, or Open Pet Food Facts.
For these lookups, the barcode number and limited request metadata, such as app user agent and preferred languages, may be sent to the relevant database service. The returned product information may include product name, brand, quantity, categories, countries, and image URLs.

We use Firebase Analytics, provided by Google, to collect app usage data. This helps us understand how users interact with the app, improve the experience, fix issues, and evaluate app performance.

Where required by law, Firebase Analytics consent is managed together with the app's advertising consent flow. Analytics and advertising storage are disabled by default until applicable consent choices are available and applied.

The app may display ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or process limited data to provide ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable laws.
Depending on your region, consent choices, and device settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. In regions where consent or privacy options are required, the app may show Google User Messaging Platform forms for European regulations, US state privacy regulations, or other applicable requirements.
On iOS, personalized advertising may also depend on Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings. You may also manage available ad privacy options inside the app where shown.

QR Studio may offer optional premium access or subscriptions through the Apple App Store.
Payments are processed by Apple. We do not collect, receive, or store your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID credentials.
The app may use information provided by Apple StoreKit to determine whether you have active premium access, an active subscription, or restored purchases. This information is used only to unlock paid features inside the app, such as premium design options, export options, or removing limitations.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. You can also restore eligible purchases in the app using the Restore Purchase option.
We do not sell or trade your personal data.
Limited data may be processed by third-party service providers, such as Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, Apple StoreKit, and public product database services such as Open Food Facts, only as needed to provide analytics, advertising, consent management, app functionality, product lookup, in-app purchases, and subscriptions.
These third-party services may process data according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.
This app is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information such as name, email address, contacts, or account credentials.
